It also comes standard with a Flex Edge beater, one of the few machines to do so. For starters, it has a beefy 1 BHP motor, which is the second largest in the KitchenAid arsenal. When it comes down to technical specs, the 6500 has plenty of great things going for it. There’s a lot more to this machine than just a fancy glass bowl though.

It’s powerful, comes in a gorgeous range of colors, and is one of the few bowl-lift mixers to come standard with a beautiful glass bowl.ĭespite the smaller capacity bowl, the glass bowl actually makes the machine significantly heavier, which is why it has a slightly larger base, helping keep the mixer more stable.

The biggest difference between these two, aside from the bowl capacity, is that the Commerical attachments are NSF certified, meaning that they have been rigorously tested to comply with commercial food safety regulations. When it comes to technical specs, the Pro-Line shares many features as its larger counterpart, including a powerful 1.3BHP motor, all-metal gear system, and bowl-lift design. This helps keep the machine stable whilst in use and stops it from dancing around your countertop when working stiffer ingredients. Both machines actually share very similar dimensions, although the larger bowl makes the Commercial almost 2″ wider and comes with a large base to compensate for bigger loads of batter and dough. Pro-Line 7 QuartsĪfter the Commerical, the Pro-Line 7 is the next largest KitchenAid mixer you can get your hands on. The reason for this is that the powerful motor and the all-metal gear system are perfect for those who need to mix large quantities of dough or batter, or for those with a lot of counter space to fill. As the name suggests, this mixer was designed for professional bakers and commercial kitchens, although plenty of home bakers use this mixer too. The KitchenAid Commercial is currently the biggest KitchenAid stand mixer available in terms of dimensions, bowl capacity, and torque output. I’ll list these machines in order of size, starting with the largest and ending with the smallest KitchenAid mixers. If you want to know about weight, I have covered that in a separate blog post! KitchenAid Mixer Dimensionsīelow you will find the length, depth, and height of every KitchenAid stand mixer currently available in the USA. Hey Angel, what about weight? On this page, I’m going to be talking specifically about KitchenAid stand mixer dimensions. I hope this information helps make your search for the perfect stand mixer easier! Whirlpool doesn’t exactly make it easy to find the sizes of their machines, so I have recently done some digging into the KitchenAid mixer dimensions in order to discover the shapes and sizes of their most popular models. After all, if you are short on countertop space, it’s important to buy a mixer that will actually fit in your kitchen! If you’re in the market for a KitchenAid stand mixer, one of the key factors you will want to consider is the machine’s dimensions. However, not all KitchenAid mixers are created equal – some are larger or smaller than others. These American-made mixers are some of the most popular on the market, and for good reason – they’re durable, efficient, and come in a mind-boggling range of beautiful colors. The KitchenAid Mini is just as beautiful as its larger siblings, and comes in a range of glorious colours to suit the most modern through to the most retro kitchens, such as Matte Black, Matte Grey, Honeydew or Hot Sauce (as pictured here).I don’t exactly make it a secret that I love KitchenAid stand mixers. Now of course, as with anything from the KitchenAid range, it’s not just about function it’s also about form.

In some ways, having a smaller bowl is actually better for smaller batches, since the bowl fills up faster and so there’s less chance of ingredients ‘hiding’ from the beater around the sides of the bowl. I’ve got my eye on the latter, as I find sticking to the sides is always an issue with stand mixers, especially when making small batches of sticky batters or frosting. Other optional accessories include a 3.3K bowl in stainless steel with handle, and flex edge beater with a flexible santoprene side for faster mixing of normal and heavy mixtures without having to stop to use a spatula on the sides. If you’re used to this from the Artisan model, you might consider it a must – especially for buttercream – who wants icing sugar all over the kitchen?! There are a few optional accessories specifically for the Mini, such as a pouring shield to help prevent splashing.
